Ever since I was little, words and writing have saved me. In kindergarten when I couldn't English, my immigrant parents read to me in English to teach me the language. In middle school, I bridged the gap in my identity with my ability to read and story tell in both Japanese and English. In high school, my school's biased teachings inspired me to use the power of words to inform and educate. This leads me to today where I am a journalist with a passion for digital content producing to provide accurate information.

I have gained valuable experience in digital content, assignment desk and news shows at Channel 5 in NYC and WTTG in DC, reporting in Japanese at Fuji Television and opinion writing as a columnist for my college paper.
